We are saying goodbye
to our Sexton of 23+ years, John Newton, who died
on Sunday, August 28, 2005. He began work at our church in April
of 1982 and continued to work after his diagnosis with ALS in
November 2003. John was known especially for his
comprehensive knowledge of the church building. He will be
greatly missed by many members of our church and especially
our church staff. He leaves his wife, Eliza, and daughter,
